Plans, limits and cancellation
Free while testing. Monthly, cancel anytime, once live.
Billing with Vunoon is meant to be predictable: you only start paying once the assistant is genuinely working for you, and you can see exactly what drives the cost. This guide walks through how the free phase, the plans, and the changes you can make all fit together — without the small print.
While you are building and testing your AI receptionist, everything is free. There is no time limit on the testing phase and no credit card required to get started. You can shape how the assistant greets callers, rehearse the conversations it should handle, and place test calls to hear it for yourself. Nothing is billed during this stage, because the assistant is not yet answering the public — it is simply waiting for your go-ahead.
A paid plan begins only when you connect your real phone number and the assistant starts answering live calls. That single moment — going live — is the line between free and paid. Up to that point you can take as long as you like to get the wording, the routing, and the after-hours behaviour right.
Plans are organised around how much answering you actually need, so the main thing that separates one plan from another is the number of answered calls included each month. The headline figure is the call volume the assistant handles for you: appointments booked, FAQs answered, leads qualified, messages taken, urgent calls transferred. We do not meter you on minor things or hide a tangle of separate fees; the plan you choose reflects how busy your line is. For the actual figures, see the pricing page, which lists each plan and what it includes.
What counts toward your plan is answered calls — the conversations the assistant takes on your behalf. If you ever approach the limit for your plan, we let you know before anything changes, so a busy month never turns into a surprise. Any calls beyond the included amount are handled transparently and billed per call, never silently switched on in the background. The idea is simple: no quiet overages, no guessing where a charge came from.
Changing or cancelling is deliberately low-commitment. Every plan is billed monthly with monthly cancellation, there are no setup fees, and there is no annual lock-in to escape from. You can move up to a larger plan when your call volume grows, or step down when things are quieter, and a change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle so your current month is never split or pro-rated mid-stream.
If you decide to stop, you cancel and the assistant simply stops answering at the end of the period you have already paid for — your settings and configuration stay intact in case you want to come back. The short version: free to build, paid only when it answers real calls, priced by call volume, and easy to adjust or leave at any time.
